Time to reset your habits

For many of us, the past 18 months have been tough - in Victoria we have had 5 lockdowns (edit: now 6) and 2020 involved a lot of time at home. This also meant many were moving less, cooking more, and maybe feeling down. All these can affect the good eating and moving habits you had. And many people are finding it hard to get those good habits back.

So what can you focus on?

Get moving - set yourself a target each day to add something extra to get moving - go for a walk, add a class, walk the dog, take the stairs.

Increase your water - during winter it is difficult to drink enough water as we often don’t feel thirsty - but it is important that your body stays adequately hydrated to ensure your organs can work effectively to flush toxins and remove waste.

Improve your sleep quality and quantity - are you going to bed later, staying up watching TV or on your phone?

These are my top 3 - but I have a new 8 week challenge which includes 8 areas to focus on, a new focus each week which will benefit your health, reset your habits and fast track your weight and health goals.
