5 Time Saving Tips for busy mums

It can be overwhelming realising half of the week has slipped under your nose, and feeling as if you still haven’t accomplished anything.

Here are 5 time-saving tips for busy mums to get organised!

1. Put down the phone!! We spend so much time scrolling through social media, but we don’t need to do it all day. Set yourself a time in the morning and again in the afternoon to check what’s happening, then spend the rest of your time achieving your tasks.

2. Create a daily to-do list - if you have a lot of items, then choose the top 3 and focus on them one at a time. If you get through those 3 tasks, then go to the next 3 top priorities.

3. Establish a routine - it might be that Monday is dusting day, Tuesday is vacuuming, Wednesday is bathrooms. If you have a plan for each day you are more likely to get the tasks done.

4. Set reminders for your tasks - if something needs to be done on a set day, make sure you set a reminder in your calendar or phone to do it, then go and do it.

5. Keep a running shopping list - as you run out of items, write it on a piece of paper on the fridge, or put it straight into your shopping app. This way you won’t need loads of time to get the shopping order completed.
