Are you getting enough sleep?

Are you getting enough sleep?

Studies have found that poor sleep is associated with weight gain and a higher likelihood of obesity in both adults and children.

So how do you get more sleep?

If you usually go to bed late and get up early, you are likely to need to add an hour or so to your sleep routine - you need to aim for 7-8 hours a night

But here's the tip - don't just go to bed 2 hours earlier to get the extra 2 hours of sleep. Each day, go to bed 15 minutes earlier until you reach the new bed time. That way your body can adjust to the earlier sleep time and you won't just lay there looking at the ceiling as your body is not used to the earlier bed time routine.

Give it a go and see how it works for you.
